The Respiratory Group aims to provide education and training and network support for pharmacists involved with the treatment of patients with respiratory disease.

The Group intends to:

• Promote the pharmacist as a key member of the multidisciplinary team caring for respiratory patients.
  
• Provide a support network for respiratory pharmacists and pharmacists with an interest in respiratory medicine.
  
• Share and exchange ideas, clinical experience, clinical evidence and resources via the RPG network.
  
• Provide education and training events.
  
• Work with BTS, GPIAG, RCN, BLF and other professional bodies.
  
• Encourage and support practice research 
  
• Monitor and maintain standards of practice
  
• Welcome all pharmacists from secondary care, primary care, industry and academia.
