The joint UKCPA/GHP Leadership Development Group aims to raise awareness of the importance of leadership at all levels and within all areas of pharmacy practice

The Group intends to:

• Build and develop networks to support, coach and mentor colleagues within the profession
• Identify and celebrate role models in leadership and management arenas
• Identify courses and development schemes that people can access to develop their leadership and management areas
• Link with NHS leadership centres or equivalent
• Create and develop an electronic newsgroup to facilitate the sharing of ideas and best practice
