The Education and Training Group aims to promote professional practice and development through education and training.  All UKCPA members who are actively involved in providing education and training are eligible to join the Group and contribute to the development of the only national forum for clinical pharmacy educators.

The Group intends to:

• Encourage and monitor the development of clinical pharmacy education at all levels
  
• Channel communication and provide opportunities for interaction between Group members
  
• Establish and monitor standards in clinical pharmacy education
  
• Stimulate new ideas in clinical pharmacy teaching and assessment methods
  
• Encourage educational research
